How To Make Easy Strawberry-Fig Jam
A simple homemade jam made from fresh peeled figs and strawberry Jell-O.

Ingredients
- 3 ½ cups figs, peeled, mashed, fresh
- 3 cups sugar, or Splenda
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 3.3 oz strawberry Jell-O, regular or sugar-free
Instructions
- Cook figs, sugar (or Splenda) and lemon juice 5 to 7 minutes.
- Let stand overnight.
- Stir in Jell-O and bring to a boil and boil 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Ladle into sterilized jars leaving 1/4-inch head space.
- Remove air bubbles.
- Wipe rims.
- Cap and seal.
- Process in a water bath canner for 10 minutes.
