Like a great homemade apple cobbler without all the fuss. All you need are just a handful of these ingredients. Put them together and pop them in the oven for flay and crusted apple dumplings.
How To Make Apple Crescent Dumplings
When you don't have the time to make your own pastry dough, we used crescent rolls for a flaky and tasty bite.
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 8 slices each
- 2 sticks butter, or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 12 oz Mountain Dew soda
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Separate crescent rolls into 16 triangles, place one apple slice in each triangle of dough and roll up from large end to small and place in a 9x13-inch greased pan.
- Melt butter and mix with sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour over dumplings.
- Pour Mountain Dew over all dumpligns.
Bake 33 to 36 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 15 minutes.
