- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix well.
