  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lingonberry sauce, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. Shape the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.

  3. Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and nicely browned.

  4. Toast the burger buns, if desired.

  5. Serve the Swedish meatball burgers on the toasted buns, topped with lingonberry sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.
