Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

  5. Spread the sliced peaches evenly into a greased baking dish.

  6. Spoon the batter over the peaches, spreading it out to cover them completely.

  7. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.

  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
