Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.

Add the flour, sugar, melted butter, milk, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the bowl. Mix until well combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if using.

Pour half of the batter into a greased and lined 8-inch round cake pan.
