How To Make Horchata de Arroz (Rice Drink)

Ingredients
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
- Ice cubes (for serving)
- Ground cinnamon (for garnish)
Instructions

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a blender, combine the rice, water, and cinnamon stick. Blend until the rice is finely ground.

Let the rice mixture sit at room temperature for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Strain the rice mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher. Discard the rice solids.

Stir in the sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined. Refrigerate until chilled.
