
How To Make Simple Chocolate Cake
This deceptively simple recipe for chocolate cake gives a rich and decadent cake that you can serve with chocolate ganache and caramel glaze.

- 2cupssugar
- 1cupsflour
- ¾cupcocoa powder
- 1tspbaking powder
- 2tspBaking Soda
- ½tspsalt
- 2eggs
- 1cupmilk
- ½cupVegetable Oil
- 1tspvanilla extract
- 1cupboiling water
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease and flour baking pan or line muffin pan with paper liners for cupcakes.

In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla to dry mixture and mix with an electric mixer on medium for about 2 minutes. Gently mix in boiling water.

Pour into pans and bake. Cool on wire racks.
