How To Make Oven Baked Creamy Cheese Polenta

Just mix 4 ingredients and bake this creamy cheese polenta, a perfect side to any dish! Easy to make and loaded with cheesy goodness!

Cooking: 50 minutes
Total: 55 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6cupswater
  • cupspolenta,or yellow cornmeal
  • 2tspkosher salt
  • ¼tspfresh ground black pepper
  • 3tbspbutter
  • ¾cupheavy cream,or whole milk
  • ¾cupcheddar cheese,grated sharp

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Add 6 cups of water into a dutch oven.

  3. Stir in polenta, salt, pepper, and butter into water.

  4. Bake uncovered for about 40 minutes.

  5. Add in the cream/milk, cheese, and stir to combine.

  6. Bake for an additional ten minutes, stir and serve immediately garnished with more cheddar cheese if desired.
