A wonderful recipe for pumpkin pie cake for those who fancies a different experience to a regular sweet dessert pie. This delightful cake pie has the depth of flavor from pumpkin, seasoned with cinnamon then blended with eggs, sugar and milk.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk, (12 oz)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 1 pkg yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup oleo
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix together eggs, sugar, milk, cinnamon and pumpkin, and pour into an ungreased 13x9-inch pan.

  2. Sprinkle over top of this in layers: package yellow cake mix, oleo, melted then chopped nuts.

  3. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F or until knife comes out clean.

  4. Serve plain or with whipped cream topping.
