Ingredients

  • 1 medium cabbage, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  2. Add the cabbage, coriander, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Give everything a nice stir.

  3. Pour the broth into the skillet and bring the mixture to a simmer.

  4. Cover and braise the cabbage for 20-25 minutes until it’s soft and tender.

  5. Serve hot as a tasty side dish or topped with chicken or beef for a complete meal.
