How To Make Copycat Subway Roast Beef Sandwich Recipe

This homemade version of Subway’s classic Roast Beef Sandwich is mouthwatering and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. thinly sliced roast beef
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green bell pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Cut each hoagie roll in half and place them on a baking sheet.

  3. Layer each roll with roast beef and a slice of cheddar cheese.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, dijon mustard, honey, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper.

  5. Spread the sauce mixture on the top of each hoagie roll.

  6. Add red onion and green bell pepper slices on top of the roast beef and cheese on each roll.

  7. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the rolls are heated through.

  8. Remove from oven and serve warm.
