How To Make Ground Sausage and Peppers Hoagie Recipe
A satisfying and hearty sandwich filled with flavorful ground sausage and sweet peppers.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 Hoagie rolls
- 4 slices of provolone cheese
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add ground sausage, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until browned.

Add sliced peppers and onion to the skillet and cook until they have softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Toast hoagie rolls and add a slice of provolone cheese to the bottom of each roll.

Divide the sausage mixture evenly among the four hoagie rolls and serve hot.
