Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Grease an 8-inch baking pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add in vegetable oil, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Fold in chopped pecans.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle brown sugar on top.

Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
