Crispy, spicy, and tangy chicken wings dipped in a homemade Asian zing sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Season chicken wings with salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. Dredge chicken wings in flour and shake off excess. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

  3. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.

  4. In a separate pan, mix honey, soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch over medium heat. Stir until mixture thickens, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. Toss the fried chicken wings in the sauce and transfer to a baking pan. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
