How To Make Bourbon Street Shrimp Recipe

  • 1 lb of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup of bourbon
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp of paprika
  • 1 tbsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper


  1. In a bowl, whisk together the bourbon, olive oil, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat.

  3. Let the shrimp marinate for at least 10 minutes.

  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
