Ingredients

  • 1 lb of large shrimp, deveined and shells removed
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of bourbon
  • 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup of ketchup
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tbsp of smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp of fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

  2. Add the bourbon, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, honey, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce has thickened.

  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink.

  4. Pour in the chicken broth and let cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens again.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
