Ingredients

  • 6 cups of bread, cubed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of bourbon
  • 1/4 cup of raisins
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • Salt, a pinch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 350F.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, bourbon, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. Mix in the bread cubes and raisins to the bowl.

  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.

  5. Bake for 45 minutes.

  6. Serve warm, topped with caramel sauce.
