A quick and easy taco recipe loaded with flavors of canned chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of canned chicken
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 8-10 small tortillas
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, salsa

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.

  2. Add canned chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  3. Add taco seasoning, black beans, and diced tomatoes. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until thickened.

  4. Heat tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.

  5. Assemble tacos by spooning chicken mixture onto the tortillas. Top with shredded cheese and desired toppings.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
