How To Make Carbonara Cabbage

You can always depend on the humble cabbage to whip up an array of delicious dishes. There are so many ways to cook this delicious vegetable. You can make cabbage rolls, cabbage soup, stir-fries, and salads. You will never run out of ideas with our trusty cabbage recipes!

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 4 slices of bacon, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


  1. In a large pan, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from pan and set aside.

  2. In the same pan, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

  3. Add the shredded cabbage to the pan and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes.

  4. While the cabbage is cooking, whisk together the eggs and Parmesan cheese in a bowl.

  5. Once the cabbage is wilted, reduce the heat to low and pour the egg mixture over the cabbage. Stir quickly to coat the cabbage evenly.

  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the eggs are cooked and the mixture is creamy.

  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and crispy bacon.
