How To Make Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich Recipe

A delicious breakfast sandwich with savory sausage and melted cheese!

Ingredients

  • 4 English muffins, split
  • 4 breakfast sausages
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausages until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. Crack eggs into the skillet and cook as desired (sunny-side up or scrambled).

  4. While eggs are cooking, toast English muffins in the oven for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Once the English muffins are toasted, place a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each muffin.

  6. Add a cooked sausage patty to each cheese-topped muffin half.

  7. Top the sausage patty with the cooked egg.

  8. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

  9. Place the top half of the English muffin on top of the sandwich.

  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
