Copycat Black Angus Garlic Cheese Bread Recipe

A dish worthy of breakfast or can even work as an appetizer. This copycat recipe from Black Angus’ Steakhouse is perfect to serve to your friends whenever you’re cooking a three-course meal for them. Jack and asiago cheese make this simple garlic bread extra-cheesy.

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup asiago cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, pureed


  1. Split French bread loaf into halves horizontally.
  2. Mix butter, cheeses, mayonnaise, green onions and garlic in a bowl, blending well.
  3. Spread the cut side of bread with spread.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes, then place under broiler about 3 minutes longer.
  5. Cut into slices and serve.
