Ingredients

  • 1 French bread baguette
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cut the French bread baguette into 1-inch slices, leaving the bottom crust intact.

  3. Mix together the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese in a bowl.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, and dried basil.

  5. Brush the garlic herb butter mixture over each slice of bread, making sure to cover the sides as well.

  6. Stuff the cheese mixture into the slices of bread, pressing down gently to fill the gaps.

  7. Place the stuffed bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
