How To Make Green Bell Pepper Relish Recipe

A tangy, sweet and spicy relish made of green bell peppers, perfect as a side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 green bell peppers, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup of cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix peppers, onions, vinegar, sugar, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
  2. Transfer to a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until thickened, about 25 minutes.
  4. Let it cool down before serving.
