These bite-sized snacks are perfect to make for any occasion. Each samosa is packed with spices, potatoes and green peas. You won’t be able to have just one.

How To Make Cocktail Samosas

For the crust:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Water (as needed)
  • Olive oil (for deep frying)

For the filling:

  • 1 cup potato (boiled and cubed)
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 2 tsp. coriander
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 2 tsp. ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 onion (grated)

Making curry filling

  1. Heat oil and add grated onion and ginger-garlic paste. Fry for a minute.

  2. Add cumin, coriander, turmeric and salt to taste. Fry for a few seconds.

  3. Mix in boiled potatoes and peas. Mix well.

  4. Cook until the curry turns dry.

Making the crust

  1. In a bowl, mix salt, flour, 1/2 cup olive oil and mix well.
  2. Add extra water until dough forms.

  3. Form the dough into lemon-sized balls.

  4. Roll them out so they are flat and cut them in half.
  5. Fold each piece to make cones.

Making samosas

  1. Fill with the curry and seal the edges using water.

  2. Deep-fry the samosas until golden brown and crisp.

  3. Serve warm with a dipping sauce of choice.
