  • 6cupspopcorn,like Kettle Brand Sea Salt Popcorn
  • 4tbsphoney

Instructions

  1. Place the popcorn in a large mixing bowl.  Set aside.

  2. Heat the honey in a small saucepan over medium-high heat until it reaches a simmer, stirring occasionally.

  3. Let the honey simmer for 1 minute without stirring.

  4. Immediately remove from heat, then drizzle the honey over the popcorn.

  5. Toss to combine until the popcorn is evenly coated with the honey.

  6. Transfer the popcorn to the freezer, and allow to chill for 5 to 15 minutes until the honey is chilled and cool to the touch.

  7. Remove from the freezer.

  8. Shape the popcorn into small balls using a large ice cream scoop, a ¼ measuring cup, or by simply shaping the popcorn into balls with oil greased hands.

  9. Place the popcorn balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  10. Stick a bamboo skewer or a popsicle stick into the center of the popcorn ball, if desired.

  11. Let cool to room temperature.

  12. Serve, and enjoy!
