  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Place the popcorn in a large bowl and set aside.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches a boil.

  3. Continue to cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat.

  4. Pour the hot mixture over the popcorn, stirring to evenly coat.

  5. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then butter your hands and shape the popcorn into balls.

  6. Place the popcorn balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet to set.

  7. Let the popcorn balls cool completely before serving.
