How To Make Satay Sauce
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Instructions

Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until onion is translucent.

Stir in the curry powder and cook for 1 minute.

Add peanut butter, soy sauce, honey, coconut milk, water, and chili flakes (if desired). Stir well to combine.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Transfer to a blender or use an immersion blender to blend the sauce until smooth.

Serve Satay Sauce with grilled meats or as a dipping sauce. Enjoy!
