How To Make Stilton-Pear Crostini Drizzled with Pumpkin Seed Oil

This stilton-pear crostini is made with brioche slices brushed with pumpkin seed oil and with a topping of pear slices, pumpkin seeds, and cheese.

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
Total: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6brioche rolls
  • cuppumpkin seed oil
  • 6ozStiln cheese
  • 3green Comice,or Anjou pears
  • ½cuppumpkin seeds,toasted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cut rounded tops off rolls, then slice each roll in half horizontally. Brush insides of rolls with about 3 tablespoons pumpkin seed oil total.

  2. Place brushed side up on a baking sheet, and bake until golden brown. This will take 7 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven. While still warm, place cheese and pears on toasted rolls.

  3. Arrange rolls on a serving tray. Top with pumpkin seeds and drizzle with remaining pumpkin seed oil. Serve warm or at room temperature.
