  • 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the baguette rounds on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5-7 minutes, until they are lightly golden.

  2. Remove the toasted baguette rounds from the oven and let them cool slightly.

  3. Top each baguette round with a few slices of pear and sprinkle with crumbled gorgonzola cheese.

  4. Drizzle honey over the pear and cheese-topped baguette rounds.

  5. Place the crostini back in the oven for 3-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves.

  7. Serve the pear & gorgonzola crostini warm.
