Ingredients

  • 2 bunches of radishes, sliced
  • 1 thumb-sized ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 2 red chillies, sliced
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil until sugar and salt are dissolved.

  2. Meanwhile, sterilize a glass jar by boiling it in water for 5 minutes.

  3. Place radishes, ginger, and chillies in the sterilized jar.

  4. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the radishes, ginger, and chillies, ensuring they are fully submerged.

  5. Let the mixture cool at room temperature, then seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.

  6. Enjoy the tangy and spicy pickled radishes with ginger and chilli as a flavorful appetizer or condiment.
