Serves:
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
-
In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, orange juice, lime juice, minced garlic, minced jalapeno, ground cumin, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and chopped cilantro.
-
Place the meat (chicken, steak, pork, etc.) in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the meat, making sure it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
-
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the meat from the marinade and discard any leftover marinade.
-
Grill the meat to desired doneness, flipping once halfway through cooking time. Use a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches the appropriate internal temperature.
-
Let the meat rest for a few minutes before serving. Slice and enjoy!
