  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup milk
  • Green food coloring
  • Black decorating gel
  • Candy eyes
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • Chocolate frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.

  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients, alternating with milk. Start and end with the dry ingredients.

  6. Add green food coloring until desired shade is reached, mixing well.

  7. Spoon batter into cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
