Ingredients

  • 8 slices of halloumi cheese
  • 8 small cocktail sausages
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Wrap each halloumi slice around a cocktail sausage, then wrap a slice of bacon around the halloumi and sausage.

  3. Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup and olive oil. Brush the mixture onto the wrapped sausages.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the halloumi is golden.

  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
