How To Make Balsamic Fig Glazed Easter Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 (5-7lb) bone-in ham
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F.

  2. Place ham in a roasting pan.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together fig jam, balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, thyme, salt and pepper.

  4. Brush glaze all over ham, reserving about 1/4 cup for serving.

  5. Roast ham in the oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 140°F.

  6. Remove ham from oven and let rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.

  7. Serve ham with remaining glaze drizzled over the top.
