Ingredients

  • 1/2 bone-in ham (5-6 pounds)
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

  2. Score the ham and place it in a roasting pan.

  3. In a saucepan, combine apple cider, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, cornstarch, cinnamon, and cloves.

  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

  5. Brush the glaze over the ham, reserving the rest.

  6. Bake the ham for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, basting with the glaze every 30 minutes.

  7. Let the ham rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving with the remaining glaze.
