How To Make Polish Sausage and Rye Bread Panini Recipe
A delicious and hearty panini filled with slices of Polish sausage and tangy rye bread.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb of Polish sausage, sliced
- 8 slices of rye bread
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup of thousand island dressing
- 1/4 cup of sauerkraut
Instructions

Preheat a panini press or grill pan.

Lay out the slices of rye bread and spread the thousand island dressing on one side of each slice.

Add 2 slices of sausage, a spoonful of sauerkraut, and a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the dressing on 4 of the slices of bread.

Place the remaining bread slices on top and press down gently.

Place the sandwiches on the panini press or grill pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.

Slice the panini in half and serve hot.
