How To Make Ground Sausage and Cauliflower Rice Recipe

A delicious and healthy low-carb alternative to rice made with ground sausage and cauliflower.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 head of cauliflower, riced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground sausage over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. Add olive oil to the skillet and sauté onions and garlic until onions are translucent.

  3. Add riced cauliflower to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.

  4. Add the browned ground sausage to the skillet and stir to combine.

  5. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

  6. Serve hot topped with chopped green onions.
