  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, onion, celery, mushrooms, garlic, parsley, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper.

  3. Cut a pocket in each pork chop, careful not to cut all the way through.

  4. Stuff each chop with the breadcrumb mixture.

  5. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  6. Brown the stuffed pork chops on both sides.

  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and the stuffing is golden brown.

  8. Allow the pork chops to rest for a few minutes before serving.
