How To Make The Ballybrack Wrap

This oven-baked Ballybrack Wrap is a wonderful dish packed with flavor brought by a well-seasoned chicken wrapped together with sausage, cheese, and bacon!

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 25 minutes
Total: 40 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1chicken breast
  • 1Chipolata sausage
  • 2slicesedam cheese
  • 2slicesbacon,or 4 streaky bacon slices, halved

For Seasoning:

  • ½tsppaprika,or smoked paprika
  • ½tspgarlic granules
  • ½tsppepper
  • 1pinchsalt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Prepare all of the ingredients first to avoid touching things with chicken fingers.

  3. Slice the bacon, remove the cheese, and sausage from their packaging.

  4. Mix together all of the seasonings.

  5. Place the chicken breast on a sheet of clingfilm, then cut it horizontally, 95% of the way through to butterfly it.

  6. Wrap it in the clingfilm, then thin it out by bashing it with a rolling pin.

  7. Season the chicken, then wrap the sausage in a slice of cheese, and put it in the center of the flattened-out chicken.

  8. Roll it up, then season the other side of the chicken.

  9. Wrap the chicken in one or two more slices of cheese, and season the remaining side of the chicken.

  10. Wrap the bacon around the cheesy chicken nice and tight.

  11. Transfer to a tray and bake for 25 minutes.

  12. Enjoy!
