How To Make Crockpot Chocolate Lava Cake
Rich, gooey chocolate cake with a warm, molten center – made in your slow cooker!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Pour batter into a greased crockpot.

In a separate bowl, whisk together boiling water and remaining 1/4 cup cocoa powder.

Pour mixture over top of cake batter in crockpot.

Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours, or until cake is set around the edges, but center is still slightly gooey.

Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
