How To Make Flank Steak Pinwheels Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds flank steak, butterflied and pounded thin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • ½ cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or broiler to high heat.

  2. Season the butterflied flank steak with salt and pepper.

  3. Layer the spinach leaves, roasted red peppers, feta cheese, and basil leaves on top of the flank steak.

  4. Starting at one end, tightly roll the flank steak into a log shape.

  5. Secure the rolled steak with kitchen twine or toothpicks.

  6. Grill or broil the flank steak for about 7-8 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.

  7. Let the steak rest for a few minutes, then slice into pinwheels.

  8. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the pinwheels before serving.
