  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain the excess fat.

  2. Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened.

  3. Add the carrots, celery, beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, basil, and oregano to the pot. Stir to combine.

  4. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
