Ingredients

  • 1lbbeef eye of round,sliced into ¼-inch strips
  • 1cupsoy sauce
  • ½cupbrown sugar,packed
  • 2tbspmesquite flavored liquid smoke concentrate
  • 1tbspground paprika
  • 3garlic cloves,minced
  • ¼tspsalt

Instructions

  1. In a shallow glass baking dish, stir together the soy sauce, brown sugar, liquid smoke, paprika, garlic, and salt.

  2. Lay the meat strips in the liquid in a single layer. Cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.

  3. Arrange strips of beef in a dehydrator, and let dry for 6 hours, or to desired dryness.

  4. Serve and enjoy!
