Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 lbs beef or venison, sliced into thin strips
Instructions
-
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, brown sugar, minced garlic, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
-
Place the sliced beef or venison into a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
-
Preheat your oven to 175°F (80°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
-
Remove the meat from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Lay the strips of meat in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
-
Bake the jerky in the preheated oven for 4 hours, or until it reaches your desired level of dryness and chewiness.
-
Allow the jerky to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
