How To Make Stout Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Veggies

Ingredients
- 3 lbs corned beef brisket
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup stout beer
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 4 carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 cabbage, cut into wedges
Instructions

Place the corned beef brisket in a slow cooker.

Add the beef broth, stout beer, onion, garlic, black pepper, mustard seeds, and dried thyme.

Cook on low heat for 6 hours.

Add the potatoes, carrots, and cabbage to the slow cooker.

Cook on low heat for an additional 2 hours or until the vegetables are tender.

Remove the corned beef and vegetables from the slow cooker.

Let the corned beef rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
