- 1 pound of strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Instructions

In a large saucepan, combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.

Increase the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until the mixture has thickened.

Transfer the preserves to sterilized jars and seal tightly.
