Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Cook until the vegetables are tender.

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Stir in the diced tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Serve the spaghetti a la Philly topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
