How To Make Octopus Ceviche Recipe
A flavorful and refreshing dish made with tender octopus marinated in lime juice, spices, and vegetables.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh octopus, cleaned and sliced
- 1 cup lime juice
- 1 red onion, diced
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine octopus, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate in the fridge for 20 minutes.

In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté red onion and jalapeno for 2 minutes.

Add in the marinated octopus and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Take off heat and let it cool.

Add in cherry tomatoes, cilantro, and avocado. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

Serve chilled and enjoy!
