How To Make Italian-Style Bass

  • 4 bass fillets
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup of black olives, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of capers
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place the bass fillets in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.

  3. Sprinkle minced garlic, cherry tomatoes, black olives, capers, and chopped basil over the fillets.

  4. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  6. Serve hot with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
